TCCIMA suggests private sector’s participation in air pollution control

TEHRAN – During a meeting of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA)’s Energy and Environment Committee, the members suggested that the government can benefit from the private sector's capacities in reducing the capital’s air pollution.

As reported by the TCCIMA portal, the Committee’s Head Saeid Tajik mentioned an upcoming meeting with the head of the Department of Environment, saying: “The TCCIMA intends to announce its readiness to participate in Tehran's air pollution control in this meeting. Based on this, the vice president of economic studies office of the chamber has prepared a proposal which will be reviewed in that meeting.”
